The April T. Bocian Foundation was established in 2015 in memory of April Tayler Bocian, whose warmth, empathy, and love for others left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Following her death by suicide, April’s family and supporters created the foundation to transform profound loss into compassionate action. Today, the organization raises awareness about mental health, depression, and suicide prevention while inviting others to participate in a supportive community. Rooted in Grove City and connected to the greater Pittsburgh region, the foundation brings people together through volunteer involvement, annual fundraising events, national resource partnerships, and wellness initiatives. Its vision is simple and enduring: help communities create real change through understanding, connection, and hope.
